Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Omnidata ("we", "us", or "our"), a product by Madispace, collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our platform and services. By using Omnidata, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and billing details when you register for an account or communicate with us. We also collect information automatically when you use the platform, including API usage logs, IP addresses, browser type, and feature interaction data. Omnidata processes publicly available data from third-party websites and platforms as part of its core scraping service; this scraped data is returned to you via the API and is not linked to your personal account.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Omnidata platform, process payments, send transactional emails and product updates, respond to support requests, and detect or prevent abuse. Aggregated and anonymized usage data may be used for product analytics and feature development. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted sub-processors (cloud infrastructure, payment processors, email service providers) under data processing agreements, or when required by law. We may share aggregate, non-identifying statistics publicly. If Omnidata is acquired, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction; you will be notified in advance.
4. Data Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are stored using Argon2 hashing. We enforce role-based access controls internally, review server access logs regularly, and restrict administrative operations to a limited set of personnel. Despite these measures, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We strongly encourage you to use a strong, unique password and rotate your API keys periodically.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also request a machine-readable export of your data or withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time. To exercise these rights, submit a request through our contact form at omnidata.id/contact. We will respond within 14 business days. Indonesian residents have additional rights under Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP).
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session (authentication, CSRF protection). We use minimal analytics cookies (with your consent via the cookie banner) to understand how the platform is used. You may manage your consent via the cookie settings link in the footer, or clear cookies at any time via your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after account closure to allow for reactivation. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Indonesian tax law. Scraped data returned via API is ephemeral from our side — we store job results temporarily for delivery but do not maintain long-term copies. Historical data kept for caching is purged on a rolling 30-day window.
8. Contact
For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us via our support form at omnidata.id/contact. We will respond within 14 business days. If you have an unresolved concern, you may also contact the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
